Carrera Master 2/P/S Polarized Aviator Sunglasses
I live at the beach and our running path is concrete...so the sun reflects right in your eyes. I've been searching for a pair of polarized sunglasses that were stylish and these are amazing!! Super light weight, crisp and clear vision. Great for running or running errands.

I found them at Sunglass Hut for $150 and got an amazing bargain on them at Amazon!

I recently bought a pair of Ray Bans from these people. Right out of the box I could tell they were fake. First, too light and flimsy. Many spelling errors on the authenticity card. Some how, fakes are sold through Amazon. I understand it is quite hard to do. However, DO NOT buy from these people!!

While the price is high enough to make you think that the product would be new, at least the pair they shipped me was clearly used or a factory second. I ordered RB 3342 Warriors, 60mm in Gunmetal/Green, polarized, and what came in the mail was a torn up Ray-Ban box, no authenticity card, and dirty glasses. The cloth was clearly used (it had smudges on it). The glasses were also crooked out of the case. The real article are a great pair of glasses, but don't buy from the above sellers.

I am an Airline Pilot and one of my quests was to find the perfect sunglasses for a Jet cockpit with Electronic Displays, always had the problem that I couldn't see the displays in the cockpit clearly, so I had to sacrifice by taking off my glasses to be able to read the displays and suffering the glare of the sun.
After searching forums and reading all the possible reviews, I decided to order the Serengeti Velocity Gradient 6692, I took them with me on my next flight, I put them on and WOOOW, AMAZING, very light frame, extremely comfortable even after hours of wearing them, and the Glare is so much filtered that u can basically open your eyes wide and still feel comfortable with the light. and as the glasses are gradient, when i looked down I could see my electronic displays much better than before.
for all you pilots looking for the perfect sunglasses, Serengeti is the answer. the technology is amazing. I definitely recommend it for people who drive or for pilots.

sunglasses had the holding screw of the right side glass damaged, which did not hold the right glass. when received the product, the right glass falldown and broke, as it was loose.when checked, it was found thread of the holding screw was damaged, and not tightening correctly, causing damage of the suglasses. product received was not in good order. right glass is broken due to the fact the thread of the holding screw is holding properly, it was not tight when received.

i would like to receive a feed back from seller and a solution for this issue, as the item is paid and the quality received was not the expected from a brand like rayban sunglasses.

please advise how to solve this situation.

at the moment i am not satisfied with the quality received.

thanks in advance for your pormpt answer.

I have a 20 year old pair of Ray Ban Aviators - 62mm, gold frame, grey lens, not polarized. I have always liked them, but I found that they were too heavy. After I had them on for more than a couple of hours, they started to hurt my nose.

A few years ago, I had to start wearing reading glasses. When I purchased them, the optometrist suggested a pair of titanium frames. I can wear them endlessly, because they are so light I virtually forget I have them on.

When I found out the Ray Ban Aviators were now available with titanium frames, I just had to have a pair. These new shades are gold with brown, polarized lenses (58mm). When you hold the old pair in one hand and the new pair in the other, you can really feel the difference. They are almost as light as my reading glasses which have much smaller lenses.

They still have the classic great looks, and are one of the best designs for driving, because of the thin wire arms and semi-wrap around lenses. No more blind spots. I would have preferred the grey lenses of my older pair, but I decided to try out the brown. They tend to "warm up" colors, block blue and increase contrast somewhat, but not to a distracting degree. Also, they are graduated, so the tinting is not as dark on the bottom of the lenses as the top and are not as dense as the older pair. Frankly, there are times when I like the darker glasses, so I plan to keep the old pair.

Personally, I have always thought that Ray Bans were well made, but last week I was talking to a dealer who sells most of the premium brands. He said he didn't know why people thought Ray Bans were so good until he started carrying them. His conclusion was, compared to the other premium brands, they are very good. So if you like the look of the Aviators and want comfortable, lightweight glasses, I think you will love these.
